What a wonderful thing it is when community members can come together and support a great cause. That’s what Julia and Elizabeth did. These two volunteers came together during our offices time of need and constructed an event with the hopes of raising money for our program. Craftsboro, A one day Greensboro Market fair meant to bring together the GSO community, and support refugee resettlement.
The event was a success! It took place on June 3rd at Hope Chapel Church and had a variety of makers, creatives, and musicians present. The event was able to raise a total of $1200 for CWS-Greensboro. Our office also received a personal donation from a community member at the event of $200.
